Commercial Laundry Equipment Repair

When commercial laundry equipment goes down, you lose revenue by the hour. CLEC's factory-trained technicians service UniMac, Speed Queen, and other major brands throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties — with OEM parts stocked locally for fast first-visit resolution.

Why CLEC for Repairs

Factory Training, Local Service, Fast Resolution

Most commercial laundry equipment repair comes down to one of two scenarios: either you call the manufacturer and wait 3–7 days for a technician to be dispatched from out of state, or you call a local repair company that doesn't stock parts and has to order them after diagnosing the problem. Either way, you're down for a week or more.

CLEC handles commercial laundry equipment repair differently. We're factory-trained and certified on the equipment we sell — UniMac, Speed Queen, and other major brands. We stock OEM parts locally. We service equipment throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties with technicians who know these machines inside and out, because we install them, maintain them, and repair them for the full equipment lifecycle.

When you call CLEC for a service call, you're calling the same company that sold you the equipment, installed it properly, and has a vested interest in keeping it running. That makes a difference in response time, diagnostic accuracy, and first-visit fix rates.

"Our Speed Queen washer went down on a Friday afternoon during our busiest time. CLEC had a technician here within 3 hours, diagnosed a failed pump, and had it back up and running same day because they actually stock the parts locally. Every other company we called wanted to schedule us out 4-5 days. Worth every penny."

What We Fix

Common Commercial Laundry Equipment Repairs

These are the most frequent service calls we handle. If your equipment issue isn't listed here, call us anyway — we diagnose and repair a wide range of commercial laundry problems.

1
Won't Spin / Won't Drain
Usually a drain pump failure, clogged drain line, or faulty lid/door switch. We diagnose the exact cause, clear blockages, and replace failed components with OEM parts.
2
Not Heating / Poor Drying Performance
Gas dryers: igniter, gas valve, or thermal fuse failure. Electric dryers: heating element or thermostat. We test electrical circuits and gas flow to pinpoint the problem.
3
Water Leaks
Failed door gaskets, loose hose connections, cracked tubs, or worn water inlet valves. We identify the leak source, replace seals or valves, and pressure-test for additional leaks.
4
Excessive Vibration / Noise
Worn bearings, unbalanced loads, damaged suspension, or loose mounting bolts. Commercial washers under heavy use develop bearing wear — we catch it before it causes catastrophic failure.
5
Control Board / Display Errors
Error codes indicate control board failures, sensor malfunctions, or wiring issues. We decode error messages, test circuits, and replace control boards when necessary.
6
Motor or Belt Failure
Motors burn out from overload or age. Drive belts wear and break. We carry replacement motors and belts for common models and can source specialty parts within 24–48 hours.
7
Coin/Payment System Issues
Coin mechanisms jam, card readers fail, or payment systems lose connection. We service mechanical coin drops and electronic payment systems for vended equipment.
8
Door Latch / Lock Failures
Broken door latches prevent cycles from starting. Failed locks create safety hazards. We replace latches, adjust strike plates, and test safety interlocks.

When You Call CLEC for a Repair

Most service calls follow this timeline. Emergency service is available for facilities that can't afford extended downtime — call and ask about same-day dispatch.

We stock OEM parts for UniMac and Speed Queen equipment locally, which eliminates the 3–5 day parts delay that other repair companies deal with. For other brands, we source OEM or equivalent parts as fast as possible and keep you informed on lead times.

1
Call Received: We log the issue, equipment details, and schedule a service visit — typically within 24–48 hours for standard calls.
2
On-Site Diagnosis: Technician arrives, diagnoses the problem, and provides an estimate for parts and labor before proceeding.
3
Repair Completed: If parts are in stock (common for UniMac and Speed Queen), repair is completed on first visit. Otherwise, parts are ordered and return visit is scheduled.
4
Testing & Sign-Off: We run test cycles, confirm the fix, and provide documentation of work performed and parts replaced.
Avoid Breakdowns

Preventive Maintenance Programs

Reactive repair — fixing equipment after it fails — costs more than preventive maintenance. Breakdowns happen during peak hours. Emergency service calls cost more. Downtime loses revenue. Parts wear faster when problems aren't caught early.

Preventive maintenance catches problems before they become failures. Worn belts are replaced before they break. Bearings are inspected and lubricated before they seize. Heating elements are tested before they burn out. Drain lines are cleared before they back up and flood the laundry room.

CLEC offers scheduled preventive maintenance for commercial laundry operations that want to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. We inspect, clean, lubricate, and test equipment on a quarterly or semi-annual schedule — whatever makes sense for your volume and equipment age.

Quarterly Inspection
Visual inspection of belts, hoses, seals, and electrical connections. Lubrication of bearings and moving parts. Cleaning of lint traps, vents, and drain lines. Test cycles to confirm operation.
Annual Deep Service
Complete disassembly and cleaning of key components. Descaling of wash tubs (hard water areas). Replacement of wear items (belts, hoses, seals). Calibration of temperature and cycle controls.
Emergency Priority
Customers on preventive maintenance contracts receive priority scheduling for emergency service calls and discounted labor rates on unscheduled repairs.

Questions & Answers

Equipment Repair FAQ

Common questions about commercial laundry equipment repair service.

Need service now?

Call 561-848-0054 to schedule a service visit or request emergency same-day dispatch.

561-848-0054

Standard service calls are typically scheduled within 24–48 hours of your call. Emergency same-day service is available for facilities that can't afford extended downtime — hospitals, nursing homes, laundromats, and other operations where equipment failure impacts revenue or patient care. Call and explain the urgency, and we'll prioritize your service request.

Yes. We charge a standard service call fee that covers the technician's time, travel, and diagnostic work. If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the total repair cost. If you decline the repair, you pay only the diagnostic fee. We provide a written estimate before proceeding with any repair work, so there are no surprises on cost.

CLEC stocks OEM parts for UniMac and Speed Queen equipment locally, so most repairs for these brands are completed on the first visit. For other brands or specialty parts, we source OEM or equivalent parts from our suppliers — typically a 24–48 hour lead time for common parts, longer for specialty components. We'll give you an accurate lead time estimate during the diagnostic visit and schedule a return visit once parts arrive.

Yes. We service commercial laundry equipment regardless of where it was purchased or who installed it. If it's a brand we're factory-trained on (UniMac, Speed Queen, Braun), we have full diagnostic capabilities and parts access. For other brands, we diagnose the problem and source parts as needed. The main limitation is parts availability — some older or discontinued models may have parts that are difficult to source.

Yes. Most of the equipment we service is out of warranty — commercial laundry machines are built to last 15–25+ years, well beyond typical 3–5 year warranty periods. We handle repairs on equipment of any age as long as parts are available and the repair makes economic sense compared to replacement. If a machine is too far gone or repair costs approach replacement cost, we'll be honest about it and discuss replacement options.

Yes. We offer scheduled preventive maintenance for commercial laundry operations — quarterly or semi-annual inspections depending on your equipment usage and age. Preventive maintenance includes visual inspection, lubrication, cleaning, and testing to catch problems before they become failures. Customers on maintenance contracts receive priority scheduling for emergency repairs and discounted labor rates. Call 561-848-0054 to discuss a preventive maintenance plan for your facility.

We accept checks, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), and ACH transfers. For established commercial accounts, we can set up net-30 payment terms after credit approval. Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Yes. We warranty our labor for 90 days from the date of service. OEM parts carry the manufacturer's warranty — typically 1 year for most components. If the same issue recurs within the warranty period due to our workmanship or a defective part, we'll return and correct it at no additional charge. This does not cover new problems or failures caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear on other components.
